Alot has gone on since my last post. I managed to travel 4 1/2 hours by myself with the two kids to go and see David's family for Thanksgiving who live back East. It turned out better than I had expected. David met me there a week later. It was such a treat to see all of his family and have the girls get to know there grandparents and cousins better. We stayed a couple weeks. It got cold but was a nice change from here. Before I left Chloe had been having double ear infections repeatedly for the last couple months. She had been on medicine and it cleared up before I left but for some reason had come back a couple days after we got there. She didn't sleep thru the night the whole time we were there because her ears we so bad. But overall she was such a good baby. I took her back to the doctor as soon as we got back and once again her ears we infected. So now I am going to the ear specialist on Monday. I am guessing now that she has my bad ears. I was born deaf in my left ear and had to have a Cochlear Implant aka ear drum replacement when I was young. I am hoping she just needs tubes and nothing more. Now on to Claire, all of the sudden the kid started talking in full sentances. He favorite thing to say is aaww man and when she drops something or gets frustrated she growls. She is still a little terror but is so cute. When we were back East she fell out of the stroller and cut her chin open. I'm thinking dang I'm going to be sitting in the emergency room stitching my kids chin up tonight. As soon as I got her home and cleaned it up and it was better than I had expected. She is going to have a nice scar there though. David and I were able to go to Georgetown a couple days. It was fun to walk around and see all the shops. David also took a tour of Georgetown's MBA school. He is exploring his options about wanting to go back to school? He would love to move back there but I am to stubborn. We will see where things go? I am happy to be home and get my kids back on there scedules. I need that nap time back.
